Taste of cultural food

Couple days ago, classmates brought different cultural food into a class to take a bite. There were Korean, Russian, Chinese, Indonesian food and more. Some of them were snacks, or food.

First of all, Russian food was outstanding. There were several kind of food. Stuffed peppers with beef are old dish which means traditional food. Also, ginger bread with sweet smell was great. Furthermore, Russian marshmallow covered with dark chocolate was a bit too sweet. Nut candy was soft, sweet taste.

Second of all, Chinese mooncake has interesting ingredients. It has an egg York in the middle inside of it. However, I prefer soft bean filling because egg York is too sour. It reminded me at highschool. I had first bite of an egg York filled mooncake at that moment. I therefore didn’t try the mooncake this time. Unless it was a soft bean filling.

Third of all, I tried some Korean snacks. It was homelike taste since Korea is my own country. Sec-come-dal-come is sour and sweet candy. I also liked Gorae-bab which was my favorite when I was a young kid.

In conclusion, tasting different kind of food was exciting. It was something people all join together to eagerly dig in. We definitely had time sharing own traditions & had fun.
